The Office of Academic Affairs Teaching Development Center is now accepting applications for the 2nd semester of Academic Year 113 "Scholarship for Students Taking English-Medium Instruction Courses" and "English Proficiency Test Rewards" from now until Friday, July 4, 114.
I. Application Details: (1) Application Period: From now until Friday, July 4, 114. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. (2) Eligibility: Currently enrolled students of this university who hold Republic of China nationality and are registered for the current semester (excluding in-service master's programs and doctoral students).
- Course Scholarship: Applications for this semester are open to students who are freshmen, sophomores, and first-year master's students in Academic Year 113.
- Cumulative Course Scholarship: Limited to junior and senior undergraduate students.
- English Proficiency Test Rewards: Undergraduate students and master's students. (3) Required Documents:
- Application Form: Please fill out either the "Student English-Medium Instruction Course Scholarship Application Form" or "English Proficiency Test Reward Application Form" according to the application category. Please print and sign the application form.
- Supporting Documents for Each Application Category: Please refer to the corresponding fields in the application form.
- Students must obtain all required supporting documents when submitting applications and ensure all documents are accurate and authentic. If submitted documents are found to be falsified, the reward will be revoked, the scholarship must be returned, and legal responsibility will be pursued. (4) Document Submission Method: Online submission; please send the application form and required supporting documents electronically to the contact person's email (ycyang@g.nccu.edu.tw). Email subject line should state "Student ID_Name_EMI Scholarship Application Category: EMI Course Scholarship or English Proficiency Reward," and specify the application category in the email body.
II. Supplementary Information for English Proficiency Test Rewards: (1) Freshmen who take the English proficiency enhancement test and submit applications before the end of their second semester, providing proof that their English proficiency test results from their senior year of high school achieved CEFR B2 or above in all four skills (listening, reading, speaking, writing), may receive additional freshman English proficiency enhancement scholarship. (2) The recognized English proficiency tests include 8 types: the 7 listed in the attached table of the aforementioned guidelines plus Cambridge Linguaskill (Business English Test, General English Test).
