The Teaching Development Center, in collaboration with the Computer Center and external vendors, is conducting course data transfer operations to migrate Academic Year 112 course data to the new Moodle platform. Due to the volume of historical course data exceeding expectations, the originally scheduled completion of Academic Year 112 course data backup and transfer operations on 01/15 (Wed) has been delayed. We sincerely apologize for this and would like to explain the current progress and response measures.
Current Progress and Adjustments:
- 112-2 Semester Course Data Transfer: We have coordinated with our partner vendors to prioritize this process. The 112-2 semester course data will be transferred to the new platform no later than 01/24 (Fri), at which time teachers will be able to access and import 112-2 semester course data on the new platform.
- 112-1 Semester Course Data Transfer: The 112-1 semester course data is still being confirmed with vendors. We will promptly notify you of subsequent progress and complete the related operations as soon as possible.
- 113-2 New Semester Course Launch Schedule Remains Unchanged, courses will be launched as scheduled on the morning of 01/16 (Thu).
- Platform Maintenance Method Adjustment: To avoid disrupting users due to system downtime, the originally scheduled system shutdown during data conversion has been changed to non-stop maintenance.
If you have urgent time requirements, teachers can still choose the original method of manually backing up old platform course data and importing it to the new platform. For specific operation instructions, please refer to the link: Moodle Backup and Restore Manual
We understand that this schedule adjustment may impact teachers, and we will continue to provide assistance and strengthen our response to platform-related issues. If you have any needs or questions, please contact our Moodle consultation team at any time:
