Overview: A “Microprogram” is a compact, specialized course cluster of 8 to 12 credits, planned by academic and research units, designed to help students develop interdisciplinary competencies in a flexible and structured way. Microprograms are divided into two categories — “Introductory Microprograms” and “Advanced Microprograms.” These programs encompass foundational, core, and applied courses, allowing students to progressively deepen their expertise based on their interests. Upon completing the required courses and credits, students may apply for a Microprogram completion certificate.

Description: Microprograms are especially suitable for subject areas with a clear thematic focus or interdisciplinary character. Through a compact, well-structured course framework, these courses can enhance students’ professional potential and strengthen a department’s distinctive approach to talent development. Our university has established relevant subsidy programs, and all departments and graduate programs are welcome to coordinate and plan Microprograms. By offering flexible course combinations, the departments can create rich, interdisciplinary learning pathways that allow students to explore more possibilities according to their interests!
