Overview: The “Advanced Placement (AP)” program was developed by our university in response to the 108 Curriculum Guidelines for senior high schools, enabling academically capable high school students to engage with university-level content ahead of time. By participating in AP courses, high school students can gain a deeper understanding of specific academic disciplines, confirm their intended field of study, and arrive at university better prepared.

Description: Our university regularly offers AP courses in collaboration with county and municipal education bureaus under signed agreements. These courses not only expand high school students’ exploratory opportunities but also strengthen each department’s distinctive recruitment profile and social impact. We look forward to faculty using their expertise and passion to guide more high school students in finding their direction and making university social responsibility a real and meaningful commitment!

Model Example: Prof. Yen-Lung Tsai delivered a lecture for high school students on “Building an AI Model for Identifying Taiwanese Blue Magpies in One Go,” presenting complex material in a clear and accessible way. Take a look at his teaching content!
