This program, spearheaded by the Center for Teaching and Learning Development under the Office of Academic Affairs, aims to encourage faculty members to engage in innovative course design and refined teaching experiments to enhance student learning quality. Each faculty member may submit one proposal per semester, with the focus on undergraduate courses. Proposals should encompass motivation, topics and objectives, literature review, instructional and research design, anticipated outcomes, and assessment methods—reflecting the full spirit of pedagogical experimentation.

Review criteria include the level of innovation, coherence of the design, outcomes from previous proposals, and use of digital learning tools. Approved proposals may receive operational and personnel funding, including assistant salaries of no less than NT$6,000 per month. Participating faculty members are required to attend result-sharing events and submit reports. Completing the project and fulfilling deliverables is a prerequisite for future applications.

By merging instructional practice with research-driven inquiry, the program encourages student-centered exploration of effective teaching strategies and media. Especially in the post-pandemic era, the importance of digital tools and innovative design is ever more apparent—making this initiative a crucial channel for driving classroom innovation.
