The Teaching Development Center, in collaboration with the Computer Center and external vendors, is conducting course data migration from Academic Year 112 to the new Moodle platform. Due to the volume of past course data exceeding expectations, the originally scheduled completion date of January 15 (Wednesday) for the Academic Year 112 course data backup and migration has been delayed. We sincerely apologize for this and would like to explain the current progress and response measures.
Current Progress and Adjustments:
- Academic Year 112-2 Semester Course Data Migration: We have coordinated with our partner vendors to prioritize this process. Course data from the 112-2 semester will be migrated to the new platform no later than January 24 (Friday), at which time teachers will be able to view and import 112-2 semester course data on the new platform.
- Academic Year 112-1 Semester Course Data Migration: Course data from the 112-1 semester is still being confirmed with the vendor. We will promptly notify you of subsequent progress and complete the related work as soon as possible.
- Academic Year 113-2 New Semester Course Launch Schedule Remains Unchanged and will be launched as scheduled on the morning of January 16 (Thursday).
- Platform Maintenance Method Adjustment: To avoid user inconvenience caused by downtime, the originally scheduled downtime during data conversion has been changed to maintenance without downtime.
If you have urgent time requirements, teachers can still choose the previous method of manually backing up course data from the old platform and importing it to the new platform. For specific operation instructions, please refer to the link: Moodle Backup and Restore Manual
We understand that this schedule adjustment may impact teachers. We will continue to provide assistance and strengthen our response to platform-related issues. If you have any needs or questions, please contact our Moodle consultation team at any time:
