Advanced Placement (AP) courses are a form of course that allows high school students to take college-level courses and earn credits before entering university. National Chengchi University, based on this concept, has planned six types of courses from AP1 to AP6 according to different aspects such as teaching methods and credit granting. The spirit of these courses is not only to let students learn university course content in advance, but also to enable students to learn diversely and autonomously, and determine their academic direction.

This workshop invites Professor Liao Hsing-Chung to unveil AP courses from different perspectives. Professor Liao has extensive experience in managing MOOC courses, with diverse audiences ranging from students at the National Academy of Public Administration to the general public, all of whom have participated in this online course feast. After accumulating rich experience in online course management, Professor Liao brought the same government governance course content to high school AP course settings, adjusting course design according to high school needs. How exactly should AP courses be managed? This workshop invites you to explore together.
