Student Academic Counseling and Tutoring for the 2nd semester of Academic Year 113 is now open for application from Thursday, February 13, 2025 to Thursday, February 27, 2025!
Description:
- This program is conducted in accordance with the "National Chengchi University Hope Seed Cultivation Program Subsidy Implementation Guidelines" (Attachment 1) and the "National Chengchi University Office of Academic Affairs Center for Teaching and Learning Development Academic Counseling and Tutoring Implementation Guidelines" (Attachment 2).
- Application Period: From Thursday, February 13, 2025 to Thursday, February 27, 2025, 5:00 PM. No supplementary materials will be accepted after the application deadline.
- Application and review matters for tutored students: (1) Eligibility:
- Undergraduate students who meet the criteria for our university's "Hope Seed Cultivation Program."
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled in courses at our university for the semester.
- Students who self-assess as needing academic counseling and tutoring.
(2) Application Method: Students wishing to apply for academic counseling and tutoring must prepare electronic copies of transcripts and personal photos within the application period, and complete the "CTLD Academic Counseling and Tutoring Online Application Form." (3) After application materials pass the CTLD review committee, applicants will be separately notified of the review results.
- Implementation of tutoring: (1) Courses applying for tutoring will be prioritized if they have not received teaching assistant resources from the CTLD. One-on-one tutoring consultation is adopted, and the CTLD will match academic counseling teaching assistants according to the semester's needs and arrange tutoring subjects. Whether matching is successful depends on actual circumstances.
(2) Tutoring Location: To be determined by mutual agreement between the tutoring teaching assistant and the tutored student.
(3) Tutoring Duration: April 2025 to early June 2025.
- According to Appendix 1 of our university's "Hope Seed Cultivation Program Subsidy Implementation Guidelines," Hope Seed students participating in the Center for Teaching and Learning Development's academic counseling and tutoring will receive a learning allowance of NT$7,500 upon completing the first stage of 6 hours of tutoring, and an additional learning allowance of NT$7,500 upon completing the second stage of 6 hours of tutoring.
