Student Academic Counseling and Tutoring Teaching Assistants for the 2nd semester of Academic Year 113 are now open for application from Thursday, February 13, 2025!
Description:
- This program is conducted in accordance with the "National Chengchi University Hope Seed Cultivation Program Subsidy Implementation Guidelines" (Attachment 1) and the "National Chengchi University Office of Academic Affairs Center for Teaching and Learning Development Academic Counseling and Tutoring Implementation Guidelines" (Attachment 2).
- Application Period: From Thursday, February 13, 2025 to Thursday, February 27, 2025, 5:00 PM. No supplementary materials will be accepted after the application deadline.
- Application and review matters for Academic Counseling Teaching Assistants: (1) Eligibility:
- Junior-level undergraduate students or above who meet the criteria for our university's "Hope Seed Cultivation Program," possess professional knowledge and skills, and are recommended by faculty.
- Other junior-level undergraduate students or above who possess professional knowledge and skills and are recommended by faculty.
(2) Application Method: Students wishing to apply to serve as Academic Counseling Teaching Assistants must prepare electronic copies of transcripts, personal photos, and faculty recommendation letters (using the standard recommendation form) (Attachment 3) within the application period, and complete the "CTLD Academic Counseling Teaching Assistant Online Application Form." (3) The CTLD review committee will determine the number of hires based on the semester's subject needs and budget, with priority given to applicants with interdisciplinary diverse capabilities. After passing the review committee, applicants will be separately notified of the review results.
- Academic Counseling Teaching Assistants are employed as temporary labor personnel. According to the salary standards approved by the Hope Seed Cultivation Program Subsidy Application and Academic Counseling Teaching Assistant Review Committee of the Center for Teaching and Learning Development for the 1st semester of Academic Year 113, undergraduate students receive NT$350 per hour, master's students receive NT$400 per hour, and doctoral students receive NT$450 per hour, with salaries calculated based on actual monthly working hours.
- According to Appendix 1 of our university's "Hope Seed Cultivation Program Subsidy Implementation Guidelines," Hope Seed students applying to serve as CTLD Academic Counseling Teaching Assistants will receive a teaching allowance of NT$9,000 upon completing the first stage of 6 hours of tutoring, and an additional teaching allowance of NT$9,000 upon completing the second stage of 6 hours of tutoring.
