Overview: “Distance Teaching” refers to an instructional model in which teachers and students interact and learn using the internet and digital platforms, free from time or location constraints. Instruction can be synchronous or asynchronous. Combined with recording, real-time discussion, online assessment, and learning analytics tools, faculty can monitor student progress and adjust instructional design accordingly.
