The Teaching Development Center of the Academic Affairs Office will accept applications for Academic Year 113 Semester 2 "Student Incentive for Taking English-Medium Instruction Courses" and "English Proficiency Test Reward" from now until July 4, 2025 (Friday).

  1. Application details are as follows: (1) Application Period: From now until July 4, 2025 (Friday). Applications will be reviewed upon receipt. (2) Eligibility: Currently enrolled students of the university with Republic of China nationality who have registered for the current semester (excluding in-service graduate programs and doctoral students). 1. Course Subsidy: This semester's applications are open to students who were freshmen, sophomores, and first-year graduate students in Academic Year 113. 2. Cumulative Course Subsidy: Limited to junior-level and above undergraduate students. 3. English Proficiency Test Reward: Undergraduate and graduate students. (3) Required Documents: 1. Application Form: Please fill out either the "Student English-Medium Instruction Course Subsidy Application Form" or "English Proficiency Test Reward Application Form" according to the application category. Please print and sign the application form. 2. Documents Required for Each Application Category: Please refer to the corresponding fields in the application form. 3. Students must obtain all required documents when submitting applications and ensure all documents are accurate and truthful. If submitted documents are found to be falsified, the reward will be revoked, subsidy returned, and legal responsibility pursued. (4) Document Submission Method: Online submission; please send the application form and required electronic documents to the contact person's email (ycyang@g.nccu.edu.tw). Email subject should indicate "Student ID_Name_EMI Subsidy Application Category: EMI Course Subsidy or English Test Reward," and specify the application category in the email body.
  2. Supplementary Information for English Proficiency Test Reward Guidelines: (1) First-year students who take empowerment English proficiency tests and apply before the end of their second semester of enrollment, providing proof that their high school senior year English proficiency test results (listening, reading, speaking, writing) all reached CEFR B2 level or above, may receive additional freshman empowerment English test advancement reward. (2) The aforementioned guidelines recognize 8 English proficiency tests, including 7 tests listed in the attached table and Cambridge Linguaskill (Business English Test, General English Test).
