Academic Year 113, 1st Semester Student Academic Consultation and Tutoring Teaching Assistants are now open for applications from August 29, 2024 (Thursday) to September 20, 2024 (Friday)! Description:

  1. This is conducted in accordance with the "National Chengchi University Hope Seed Cultivation Plan Subsidy Implementation Guidelines" (Attachment 1) and the "National Chengchi University Academic Affairs Office Center for Teaching and Learning Development Academic Consultation and Tutoring Implementation Guidelines" (Attachment 2).
  2. Application Period: From August 29, 2024 (Thursday) to September 20, 2024 (Friday). No supplementary materials will be accepted after the application deadline.
  3. Application and review matters for academic consultation teaching assistants: (1) Eligibility requirements:
    1. Students who meet the criteria for our university's "Hope Seed Cultivation Plan," are third-year undergraduate students or above, possess professional knowledge and skills, and are recommended by faculty members.
    2. Other third-year undergraduate students or above who possess professional knowledge and skills and are recommended by faculty members. (2) Application method: Students wishing to apply to serve as academic consultation teaching assistants should prepare electronic copies of transcripts, personal photo files, and faculty recommendation letters (using the standard recommendation form) (Attachment 3) within the application period, and complete the "Center for Teaching and Learning Development Academic Consultation Teaching Assistant Online Application Form." Application form URL: https://forms.gle/oDaYkrkeaJiDMLPp7 (3) The Center for Teaching and Learning Development review committee will determine the number of hires based on subject needs and budget for the current semester, with priority given to applicants with interdisciplinary and diverse capabilities. After passing the review committee, applicants will be separately notified of the review results.
  4. Academic consultation teaching assistant salaries, working hours, and related regulations follow the guidelines stated in Description 1 as principles; for those employed as temporary personnel, actual working hours and salaries will apply.
  5. According to Appendix Table 1 of our university's "Hope Seed Cultivation Plan Subsidy Implementation Guidelines," Hope Seed students who apply to serve as Center for Teaching and Learning Development academic consultation teaching assistants will receive a teaching allowance of NT$9,000 upon completing the first phase of 6 hours of tutoring; upon completing the second phase of 6 hours of tutoring, an additional teaching allowance of NT$9,000 will be granted. ★"Hope Seed Cultivation Plan" qualification certification and "Diverse Learning Subsidy" prerequisite application: https://reurl.cc/E6oAD1★
